After much research and preparation, I was finally able to use ExpressionEngine on a client’s site. The Employers Council on Flexible Compensation came to Matrix Group looking for a full-site content management system, and I thought that ExpressionEngine suited their needs best.

My role in this project was to take the sliced templates that another Front-End Developer completed and to implement the site using ExpressionEngine. I was also tasked with adding in the JavaScript functionality on the homepage. Once the implementation was complete, I also had to train the client on how to use it.

I definitely learned a lot from this implementation, and I know what things I would have done differently, but overall, it turned out to be a successful site.
