Weekly Link Round-Up #39
Wow, I must say it is hard writing blog posts, doing freelance work, and being crazy busy at my day job. I’ve got one post in the works, and hopefully I will be able to finish it up next week. Here is what I found interesting last week (and the beginning of this week):
- Adding Form Validation to WordPress Comments using jQuery
- Your US tax dollars at work
So the Computing Community Consortium launched their website the other day, at it was a blatant rip-off of A List Apart. They have since changed it, but you can check out the screenshots here. It wasn’t even like they just designed it to look similar, they straight up stole the mark-up and CSS. I will say that the CCC handled it correctly, but how did they let it happen in the first place?
- WordPress 2.6
The WordPress team was able to launch version 2.6 a month before it was supposed to! Not any huge differences, but there are some nice small changes. I would recommend taking a few minutes to watch the video. I love the redesigned plugins page and the post revisions.
- A List Apart: Issue 263
Only one real article in this issue: Walking the Line When You Work from Home, but it is a great article describing how to succeed while working at home.
