Didn't you used to have to pay more for glossy screens on the MBPs? Now you have to pay more for the matte? Weird.

Weekly Link Round-Up #40

Well, I finally got a site launched that had been stressing me out, now I only have my company website to stress me out for the next two weeks. Here is what I found interesting this week:

  • Smart CSS Ain’t Always Sexy CSS

This was a pretty interesting read. I think one interesting point that Martin brought up was that most of the time, editing HTML is quicker than editing CSS. A lot of times, it may just be easier to add a new class/id and add some new CSS instead of editing existing code.

  • Western Spaghetti

This video is just awesome. How long did this take to make?

  • IE PNG Fix

Interesting, this IE PNG script gives support for background position and repeat.

  • Firebuggin’

Nice, John Resig is going to be spending half of his time at Mozilla working on Firebug. After seeing how amazing jQuery is, I can’t wait to see what he does for Firebug.
