Problems with Commenting

So in the quest to abolish the www from my URL, I seemed to have broken Movable Type comments.

I added the following to my .htaccess file:

RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond
%{HTTP_HOST} ^www.trevordavis.net[NC]
RewriteRule
^(.*)$ http://trevordavis.net/$1 [R=301,L]

That means whenever anyone tried to go to www.trevordavis.net, they were redirected to trevordavis.net.

My co-worker, Adrian, told me today that when he was trying to add a comment to one of my entries, he got an error that said "No entry_id". After much googling, I finally determined it was because of the URL rewriting. I could not really find a solution, but I finally went into the mt-config.cgi file and found out that when I had setup the site, I set it up with www.trevordavis.net. For some reason, this broke the comments. I changed it to trevordavis.net, and my quest to abolish the www continues.
