So, they just painted big letters and numbers in my parking garage at work. Can you name that font? With the numbers being below the baseline of the text, it makes me think it’s Georgia. Anyone else have a guess?

It’s a shame I don’t get to see finely crafted type specimens in my parking garage across the street.

02.27.2008Hmm now that I look at it more, I think you are definitely right. Well at least, it’s a lot closer to Goudy Old Style than Georgia.
A little more seniority and you’ll be right down there in the garage with us.
